Introduction
Hi, I’m Rebeka – a NIP-registered psychologist working with expats, students, and new parents who are seeking more peace, clarity, and balance in their lives. My therapeutic approach is flexible and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Existential Therapy.
Life is full of transitions, and the changes they bring can deeply affect how you feel and function. Whether you’re adjusting to life in a new country, navigating the ups and downs of parenthood, or struggling with academic stress, you don’t have to face it alone. I offer therapy and counseling in English and Romanian—both in Utrecht and online—in a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.
My areas of expertise include:
- Perinatal mental health – support around infertility, pregnancy, and the postpartum period
- Life transitions – including identity development, relationship issues, feelings of loneliness, and adjusting to new environments
- Academic transitions – such as performance anxiety, stress, and study-related challenges

I tailor my tools and techniques to what fits best for you.
Outside of my practice, I enjoy reading, meditating, running, and spending time with my husband, young son, and our dog. I care deeply about professional growth and regularly take part in training, peer consultation groups, and conferences to continue learning and improving my work.

Perinatal mental health: Pregnancy and postpartum support for new and expecting parents
Pregnancy and the arrival of a baby can bring a mix of joy, change, and unexpected challenges. While this period is often described as one of the happiest times in life, it doesn’t always feel that way. You might feel anxious, low, overwhelmed, or even disconnected – from yourself, your baby, or those around you. And when everyone expects you to be glowing with happiness, it can be hard to speak up.

Fees
Individual therapy: €90 per session.
University students: €60 per session
For sessions taking place on Saturdays or in the evenings (after 17:00), I charge €100 per session.
A session lasts 50 minutes.
