Introduction
My name is Nicolette, living in Sprundel with a psychologist practice and relationship therapy office in Breda.
Originally I am from North Holland, born in Wognum, but have lived in the south of Holland for many years. In the past I was often confided in by people with problems and that got me thinking.
I wanted to do something with people. I was always interested in how it is that someone behaves the way someone behaves and the motivations/feelings of others.
Nothing is what it seems, and nothing is as obvious as we think. Every person has a backpack, even if you wouldn't say so from the outside. I also believe that every person has all kinds of good qualities. That too is something that people are not always aware of. Among other things, I am looking for those good qualities.
Being judgment-free is very important to me. No matter what I am told, I am open to you, no one has to be ashamed. By now I have heard so many stories, that I know, that a lot is possible.

Since 2008 I have had my own Psychologist practice. First I worked in Tilburg and now in Breda. Within the practice I provide psychological services, relationship therapy and (career) coaching.
Common complaints are: anxiety, low self-esteem, fear of failure, not being able to make a decision, relationship problems, illness or doubts in work, negative thoughts and therefore ineffective behavior, conflicts, communication problems, trust issues, loss and grief and general feeling of unhappiness etc.
Also characteristics such as AD(H)D, depression, Borderline, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and autism-related traits occur in the people I speak to, as well as negative thinking and not knowing where to start with activities. Often people have good ideas but don't know, where to start. Even when having choice stress and dilemmas, I can give you some quick insight through exercises.

By bike you can park inside the fence, just before the entrance
The entrance is on the left side of the building, Living Projects entrance. In the hall at the entrance you go straight to the elevator or at the left to the stairs to the first floor. In the hall on the first floor you go to the second to last room.

Online therapy
Most sessions take place in the practice in Breda.
Many sessions also take place through video calling. I have good experiences with it. Through video calls, we can see and hear each other and can still work on the content. It is easily accessible and well available and you can do it from home / your own environment.
Online therapy is possible if you need it, or if you work from home, or if you have no childcare or if there are not many psychologists in your area, or if you live far from Breda. It is all possible.

Specializations:
- Cognitive behavioral therapy: people can have unpleasant thoughts and feel very bad because of them. If the situation itself cannot be changed, it is helpful to change the thoughts around it. Often some of the radars then turn and you feel better afterwards. You will see that you then show different behavior, from which you get more happiness. If you practice a lot with these commands, it can work quickly. If it is based on trauma, it takes longer, because then other issues need to be addressed as well. A referral is then also possible.

Fees
Rates
The cost of therapy is 105 euros per hour (incl VAT/ BTW). This also applies to the intake.
It is not covered by insurance. So it is important that you check whether you can pay for it yourself.
